Bas Ent to train with Columbus Crew next week

With his first season under his belt in the PDL, DDL's Right Winger Bas Ent will make his way northeast 70 miles to Columbus. Sources close to the team, say he will work out with the Crew for 2-3 days as part of an agreement with its partnership with the Crew

Ent will train alongside the likes of Schelotto, Marshall, Rogers, Renteria, and more. After a successful season for the Dutch Lions in the toughest PDL Conference in the States, the Great Lakes Division, Ent turned heads in each of his matches gaining the interest of several scouts along the way.

Prior to the Dutch Lions last regular season game in Chicago, Ent spent the week in Toronto with MLS's TFC. In Toronto, Ent trained with the first team, and played 45 minutes in the international friendly vs. Bolton Wanderers. Ent impressed during the match on two deadly crosses, both almost resulting in assists for him.

This coming week, Ent will make his way to the Crew training grounds, after an invite by Crew's Technical Director Brian Bliss. He will spend the beginning of the week practicing with the team for the Crew's coaching staff to get a better look at him, before the squad leaves for Philadelphia for a league match vs the Union.

More information will be available next week, after more news is released on how his practices went
